NOE CASARES, BARBER APPRENTICE
Noe Casares comes to the Parlor with over two years of licensed Barbering experience. His interest in the Trade began as early as his middle school years, with him doing haircuts on his friends after school in his parents garage, and it was this outlet for creativity that inspired him later in life to pursue it as a professional career. His more gratifying moments as a Barber come from getting to know his clients and helping them in some small way feel better about themselves simply by delivering a good haircut with good service. Noe will be completing an Advanced Apprenticeship program, and will be performing complimentary services for a limited time, during which time he will refine and fine-tune his already well-rounded skillset, while acquainting him to the service standards the Parlor clients have come to expect. All of his services will be supervised and signed off by Mark-Jason Solofa or a Senior Barber, to ensure quality and consistency. You can see more about Noe here on his Instagram page.
MICHAEL MEJIA, BARBER
Michael’s commitment to his craft as a Barber has been honed for well over a decade. He graduated from cosmetology school in 1992, but it was his passion for Traditional Barbering that led him to completing his barbering education so that he could focus on carving a niche for himself specifically within the area of men’s grooming. Michael’s technical skills as both a stylist and barber make him an extremely well-rounded men’s groomer and asset to the Parlor and it’s clients who will also benefit from his high level of customer service as well. You can see more about Michael here on his Instagram page.
AL GUERRERO, BARBER
Al is a second generation groomer, in that his mother was a successful hairdresser in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 35 years. After spending many years already working in other service-related industries (including several in Executive Protection for Kaiser Permanente’s senior leadership team), Al soon realized that growing up in the hair industry had him wanting to make a greater impact somehow to those living in his community. As a husband and father of two young boys, Al knew right away that his calling was to better influence men of all ages as a Barber. After receiving his California State Barber License, Al completed a four month advanced Apprenticeship under Mark-Jason Solofa, and we feel very fortunate to have him in the Parlor. You can see more about Al here on his Instagram page.
